SFAC Programs
San Francisco Alumnae Chapter is committed to serving San Francisco and Marin Counties. SFAC continues to implement various worthwhile community service projects. Throughout the decades, our projects have included and in most cases continue to include:

Academic scholarships to students attending colleges and universities

Contributions to the NAACP and other organizations supporting scholarships and community change

Registering community member to vote and educating them on their civil rights

Annual scholarships to an African-American student enrolled in the San Francisco Opera - Merola Program

Partnering with organizations such as the San Francisco Sheriffs Department, the YMCA, and Homeless Prenatal program to ensure individuals and families have the basic needs met

Participating in the St. Jude Walk to fight childhood cancer

Sponsorship of the Ebony Fashion Fair Show since 1958

Counseling and career guidance programs to residents of Florence Crittenden - a home for teen mothers and their children

Sponsoring the Mother's Against Gun Violence Mother's Day luncheon
